How to Block Websites in your Computer

In this article I am going to tell how to block websites with the help of Hosts files.
For Windows XP/2000 :
1) Start ==> Run ==> services.msc
2) Search for DNS Client. Right click, Properties.
3) Under Start-up type select manual.
4) Click Apply. Then below that click Stop.

How do i block and unblock internet sites
Learn to block and unblock internet sites
Some times it becomes necessary to block and unblock internet website on our Computers for one or other reason.
Procedure to block an unblock internet sites:
- Go to Start and type RUN .
- Type C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
- Open the file "HOSTS" in a notepad
- Under "127.0.0.1 localhost" . Add IP Name
IP - IP of the site to be blocked
Name - Name of the site
127.0.0.1 localhost
210.210.19.82 www.sifymall.com
127.0.0.1 www.google.com
Sifymall is now unaccessable . For every site after that you want block , just add "1" to the last number in the internal ip (127.0.0.2) and then the add like before.
how 2 find the ip of a website : for the ip:
RUN
CMD
type PING www.google.com
to trace ip address of a websites go to http://www.ip-adress.com/
